1 - Create an account
1.1 - Why signing up on the site?
Signing up on SoComics.com allows you: :
- to send a message to a seller for an item you are interested in
- to buy items,
- to sell items,
- to create your wants list.

Creating an account is for free and no obligation.

In order to sign up, you just need to click on the sign up link on top of the pages to fill the form.

Thus, you will be able to logon with your username and password to be recognized when you need to use the website.

Your registration is made in agreement with our terms of use and our privacy policy.
1.2 - Is my personal data protected?
The data you enter upon registration on the site is protected and stored securely.
This data is required for the process of your order and more generally for a good commercial relationship between you and us.
You can modify these data at any time, from your account or by contacting us.
1.3 - Can I close my account?
Yes. You can ask to close your account at this address.
Your account will be deactivated. You will no longer be contacted by SoComics.com.
2 - Search for items
2.1 - Is this item available?
If the item is offered on the site by a seller, it is usually in stock.

SoComics.com is a market place. i.e. we bring sellers and buyers together.
We secure payment and delivery of the transaction for your convenience.

At no time is CDandLP a record dealer. As a middle man, we don't hold the items. Therefore we will not be able to give information on item availability.

2.2 - What do symbols like M, EX, VG+ … mean?
It's the universal code to describe precisely the condition of a record.
This classification is based on international standards Goldmine and Record Collector Grading Systems.

2.3 - What is the tracklisting of this record?

2.4 - Who sets the prices?
Prices are set by sellers according to the market.
Those prices never include the shipping costs which are added when processing your order.
3 - I wish to make a purchase
3.1 - I cannot add items to my shopping cart.

3.2 - What are the shipping costs to be delivered in my country?
To know how much you will be charged for postage:
1 - Add the items you wish to purchase into your shopping cart.
2 - Select a shipping method.

Shipping costs will be calculated and displayed with your shopping cart automatically .

Shipping costs are set by sellers or by SoComics.com according to postal rates in force in the seller's country of origin.
These costs vary depending on the geographical location of the seller and the buyer.

They are based on:
- the weight of the package (items + packaging)
- the method of shipping (economy, priority, registered, express mailing).

Professionnal sellers may apply some extra packing costs.
3.3 - Who are the authors of this item ?
To learn more about an item, you need to contact the seller using the link "ask him a question" on the item description page.
3.3 - Can I receive an order in my country?
Your country should be displayed in the list supplied on our sign up form.

3.4 - Who sets the prices ?
Prices are set by sellers according to the market. You can find them in bookstores, specialized magazines and on the web. Those prices never include the shipping costs which are added when processing your order.

Definitely. Just before submitting your order, please register particular delivery and billing addresses.
3.5 - Which payment method can I use?
You have 6 payment methods at your disposal:

- payment with your SoComics.com account balance,

3.6 - Is the credit card payment secured?
Credit card payment security relies on the SSL technology.
- If one item of your order is not available, it is removed from your order and the total is automatically recalculated. Your credit card is charged only for items whose availability has been confirmed.
- We do not keep any credit card information of our customers on our servers.
- When you enter your credit card numbers and the expiration date, the information passes through SSL.
3.7 - What are the shipping costs to be delivered in my country ?
To get the shipping costs you need to fill in your shopping cart with the wanted items then you will see the shipping costs on the order form.

You will get the exact shipping costs before paying as they are automatically calculated on the shopping cart page. Thus, there's no surprise for you.
Shipping costs are fixed by SoComics.com for french sellers and by the seller himself for international sellers based on the parcel weight (items + packaging) as well as postal rates. A fixed price is sometimes added for the packaging. Shipping rates change with the seller's and buyer's location and the selected shipping method (economy, priority, registered).
3.7 - How long does it take to receive my order?
It depends on
- the shipping method you have selected
- the sellers' average time to confirm and to ship their orders.
To get an idea how fast sellers treat orders, you may check their statistics. They are displayed on each item description page or on the seller listing page.

3.8 - I cannot login to my account.
Make sure your browser accepts cookies.
3.9 - Can't use your coupon?
To use a coupon, enter the code in the 'coupon' zone, just above the
drop-down menu for payment methods.

PLEASE NOTE: coupons can't be used when there is a pending price offer on
one or several items from your cart.

3.10 - I have a technical problem.
4 - I have a question about a pending order
4.1 - I wish to modify the shipping and/or the billing address.
4.2 - Can I add or remove any item on my pending order?
You can remove an item as long as your order has not been shipped. To do so, please Contact our customer service. If you wish to add one or several items to a pending order (not shipped yet), please place a new order and ask the seller to ship everything together and to adjust the shipping costs of the second order.
4.3 - May I cancel my order?
You can cancel an order:
- If it hasn't already been shipped by the seller Contact our customer service.
- If it has already been shipped by the seller, you have to wait for the receipt of the parcel before claiming for a refund. For your claim to be accepted, you will need the seller's agreement. If the seller accepts, you will have to return the parcel to him/her at your expense.

4.4 - What address do I have to send my payment to?

4.5 - Can I change the payment method for my pending order?
Yes, you can change the payment method in two cases:
- if your payment was not already cashed by SoComics.com. Just login to your account My account > My Purchase History > Orders History.
- if you have already confirmed the date you sent your payment on, Contact our customer service.
4.6 - I still haven't received availability confirmation, what can I do?
For some reasons, sellers can take longer than others to confirm availability.
Contact seller to get some information.
If you don't get any reply within a short time, Contact our customer service.
4.7 - Did you get my payment?
If your order's status does not show "Awaiting shipment" or "Shipped" in the Orders History menu, it is probably because we are still waiting for your payment. If you think it is late or even lost, Contact our customer service.
4.8 - My order was automatically cancelled for non payment.
Contact our customer service in order to reset your order.
4.9 - The order's status remains 'Awaiting shipment'.
In the first place, please Contact seller for an explanation.
If you don't get any reply, feel free to Contact our customer service.
4.10 - I still haven't received my order.
First, check that the item was shipped by the seller, from your account My account > My Purchase History> Orders History.

Then, Contact seller and ask for tracking information.

If you don't get any satisfactory answer from the seller and if your order still hasn't arrived, please Contact our customer service within the time limit:

For a domestic sending :
- Economic shipping method, between the 3rd and 4th week after the shipping date.
- Priority, registered or express shipping methods, between the 2nd and 3rd week after the shipping date.

For an international sending :
- Economic shipping method, between the 5th and 6th week after the shipping date.
- Priority, registered or express shipping methods, between the 3rd and the 4th week after the shipping date.
4.11 - I confirmed the receipt of my order by mistake.
5 - I received my order but there is a problem
5.1 - How do I confirm the receipt of my order?
Go to your account My account > My Purchase History > Orders History and click on the number of the related order. Then, leave a satisfaction mark and a feedback to the seller. This confirms the receipt of the order.
5.2 - The item I've just received is different from the one I've ordered.
Most of the problems can be solved directly with sellers.
In the first place, Contact seller to find an agreement.

However, if no agreement can be found or if the seller does not reply to your message, Contact our customer service for us to register your complaint and forward it to the seller.
5.3 - An item is missing in my order.
First, check that the item was available: go to your account My account > My Purchase History> Orders History.

If it was available, please Contact seller to find an arrangement.
However, if no arrangement can be found or if the seller does not reply to your message, please Contact our customer service for us to register your complaint and forward it to the seller.
5.4 - The ordered item was delivered broken or damaged.
The item may have been broken or damaged during the delivery process.

In the first place, please Contact seller to find an arrangement.
However , if no arrangement can be found or if the seller does not reply to your message, and if you think the packaging was not appropriate, Contact our customer service for us to register your complaint and forward it to the seller.
5.5 - The grading of the item is worse than advertised.

5.6 - The seller didn't respect the shipping method.
Contact our customer service : we will check and refund you the difference.
5.7 - I forgot to pick up the parcel at the post office.

However, if no arrangement can be found or if the seller does not reply to your message, Contact our customer service, in order for SoComics.com to forward this information to the seller.
As soon as he receives the parcel back, we will be able to refund you or the seller will be able to ship it again after you renew payment for the shipping costs.
5.8 - I wish to retract.
You have a right of withdrawal if the item(s) was(were) ordered from a professional seller specified as such on the website, within the seven days following the item(s)’ receipt. Withdrawal do not apply to reproductible products (cd, vinyls, dvd, vhs...), unless they are still sealed.
If those conditions apply to the item(s) you wish to return, Contact our customer service for us to register your request and transfer it to the seller.
As soon as the parcel is received in perfect condition by the seller, we will be able to refund the price of the item plus the shipping costs. Please note that shipping costs for the return are at your expense.
